Hosting (Vercel)
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When the site is accessed, Vercel processes technical connection data, in particular the IP address, date and time of the request, browser type, operating system, referrer and amount of data transferred. This data is required to deliver the website securely and reliably.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel. As Vercel is based in the USA, personal data may be transferred there; Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and EU standard contractual clauses apply in addition.

Web analytics (Umami)
We use Umami, a cookieless open-source analytics tool, to measure reach anonymously. Our Umami instance runs on Railway. Only anonymous events that cannot be combined are processed: page visited, referrer, approximate location, language setting, screen type, browser, operating system and timestamp.
The IP address is not stored. No tracking cookies are set, and visitors are not tracked across websites or days. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; consent under § 25(1) TDDDG is not required.

Processors and transfers to third countries
We use Vercel Inc. for website hosting and Railway Corp. for hosting our Umami instance as processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Both providers are based in the USA. Transfers are made on the basis of EU standard contractual clauses and, where certified, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

This website sets no tracking cookies and does not store a language choice in the browser. The selected language is only part of the URL you visit (/de or /en).
